This Dance Pop give to us some advantages, like this :
1. it's good
It's produced by Full Force and gave La Toya the spotlight in Europe and it actually is quite good. It's catchy, it was trendy and it's still interesting to listen to.

2. LaToya Jackson Looking To Rock Your Radio
Well congratulations to me! This will be my 2,000'th Amazon review. Anyway onto the subject at hand! Before the depressing mantle of "Most dysfunctional member of the Jackson family" was worn by Michael,LaToya had the misfortune of wearing that mantle a time when Mike was at the peak of his popularity. It all started when she left home and married Jack Gordon, who turned out to be extremely controlling and abusive. Being sheltered by her family fame, she wasn't prepared for a lot of how she'd be promoted image wise. Basically she was made up to resemble the female version of Mike at this time. But she did know music, having some experience recording of her own with three albums already under her belt. Controversial as she was in the late 80's she did manage to pick up at least the talented production team of Full Force for a good chunk of this album. Listen to The Entire Album Before You Judge
La Toya has a good range of good material to work with on this album. The majority of the songs hit the spot. Songs such as "Turn The Radio On", "(Tell Me) She Means Nothing To You", "Does It Really Matter", "Just Say No", "(Ain't Nobody) Loves You Like I Do" stand as a reminder that if she was not a Jackson, she would as successful as any other Dance-Pop artist at the time. Other songs such as "Such A Wicked Love", "If I Could Get To You", "Not Giving Up On Love" and "You Blew" are enjoyable songs also. If you are not a La Toya fan, then don't purchase the album! Notice how very few people said she could not carry a tune until after her she got married to her controling, late ex husband. For those who are, La Toya gives you a solid album. Her music would not even more consistant and enjoyable until the EP "Starting Over" was released 21 years later. Her follow up to this album "No Relations" is fabulous too! You can keep songs from the reality TV stars, I am a La Toya fan and will...
