November

This give to us some advantages, like this :
1. Good but not my favorite D Miller
I like some of the tracks, but I prefer his more classic, more Latin, more flamenco tinged playing than the rockier numbers here

2. Another "Atmospheric" Triumph for Dominic Miller...
I've always been a big fan of Dominic Millers playing, and when I heard that his latest record was to feature Mark King and Mike Lindup from Level 42 fame on the sessions, I was ecstatic. If you're expecting the "Atmospheric Textures" that are the trademarks of his solo records, and his sessions with Sting, then you will be pleased to know that you'll be getting these in spades on his latest release, "November". Along with his signature acoustic and electric sounds, Dominic also shows off a much "edgier" side to his electric guitar work than has been featured in his previous solo outings. Some of the solos and tones he creates are a bit reminiscent of the "Blow by Blow" and "Wired" albums from Jeff Beck. For me, "Solent", "W3","Ripped Nylon" and the title track,"November" are the standout performances on this album.

If you are a fan of Mark King and Mike Lindup, and are expecting them to bring their Level 42 "Game Face" to this recording, you will probably be very...
