Life & Favor

CD/Book: Get ready for Pastor John P. Kee s next musical offering as he sets the release date for his Life and Favor Deluxe Edition. With a scheduled release date of October 15th, the CD is already causing a buzz with a special tribute to the late Reverend James Moore entitled, Great Things Happen, featuring Peabo Bryson, Zacari Cortez, Shawn Bigsby and Rance Allen, just to name a few. Additionally Pastor Kee has also included a Spanish version of Life and Favor. Making the release even more special.

This give to us some advantages, like this :
1. I've been waiting for this...
Gotta say this, Im so proud of JPK keppin up with our current artists. He always has so much to tell the world! Life and favor upon us, he brought us out!

I personally love The New Life Choir above all, but the new chorale takes the cake. thsy sound GREAT. Im loving the songs on this track like "I Win" "My worship" "Wake Up" "Amazing" and "Another Chance" and not to mention our guest artits. It really dont get any better than this. I would be a sore loser to give this 4 stars just cause its not the choir, so you see 5 stars from me. Keep it up New Life, you are a blessing :D

2. Ok...
This album is just ok - nothing great, nothing bad. There are really only a few songs that I will actually listen to (Life and Favour, I Win, My Worship); the rest of the songs are just too cookie-cutter for me.

In comparison to John P Kee's best work, like the Not Guilty, Show Up or Strength albums, this really does not compare and there is no way you could / should give it 5/5 stars.

Finally!
This project is long overdue and well worth the wait! OK, I didn't want to wait THIS long, but now that it's here, I'm excited and elated!

"My Worship" (particularly) ushers you into the very presence of God with its lyrics, vocals and smooth harmony--all synonymous with JPK & New Life! However, the ENTIRE project is awesome. But what else would be expected when it features compilations with James Fortune, Lejeune Thompson, Kim Burrell, Kirk Franklin, Fred Hammond and many others?!?!? And of course, Sheila Lakin is still hanging in there and doing what she does! Nothing but Singing, Dancing, Praising, Worshipping, Head Bobbing & Foot Tapping...POW!
